Terms of Service

The terms that apply when creating an account or using LaunchLegal's document, workspace, hosting, export, and billing features.

Effective date: 5 September 2026

Who operates LaunchLegal

These Terms are between you and Ali Ahmad, a sole trader, trading as LaunchLegal. The operator's business and legal-service address is 33 Kerris Way, Reading, RG6 5UW, United Kingdom. No company number applies because the operator is a sole trader.

Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use LaunchLegal. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

The service

LaunchLegal provides tools for collecting business information and creating, editing, versioning, hosting, and exporting legal-document drafts. Features and limits vary by plan. LaunchLegal may improve, replace, or withdraw features where reasonably necessary to operate or secure the service.

Not legal advice

Generated documents are automated drafts, not legal advice and not a guarantee of legal or regulatory compliance. You are responsible for checking that your inputs are accurate, reviewing every output for your circumstances, and obtaining advice from a qualified legal professional where appropriate.

Accounts and workspaces

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for granting appropriate access to members. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Your information and content

You must have the right to submit all information, files, logos, and other content you provide. You remain responsible for generated documents and for deciding whether to publish a hosted page. Active hosted pages are publicly accessible.

Acceptable use

You must not use LaunchLegal unlawfully, fraudulently, to infringe another person's rights, to upload malicious material, to interfere with the service, to bypass access or plan limits, or to create content that is knowingly false, misleading, abusive, or harmful.

Suspension and termination

LaunchLegal may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms, fraud or suspected fraud, abuse or misuse, non-payment, a security risk, unlawful use, or conduct that materially threatens the service or other users. Where appropriate, we may investigate and allow a user to address the issue, but urgent action may be taken to protect users or the service.

Plans, payment, and cancellation

The Business Pack is a one-time purchase. Other paid plans may be billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Refund and cancellation terms are set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep LaunchLegal available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or removes mandatory rights available to consumers.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights. Questions can be sent to support@launchlegal.uk.
